A private cruise transfer to or from Port of Miami and Miami Hostel runs about 5.1 miles in 17–20 minutes via I-95 and Port Boulevard, at a flat rate from $80 per vehicle — a dedicated SUV with a bilingual chauffeur, luggage help, and pickup right at your ship’s own terminal.
Each rate below covers the whole vehicle one way, to or from the cruise terminals — never per person, never surge-priced.
Skip the taxi line and the luggage-on-the-sidewalk scramble — reserve a dedicated SUV in advance and the terminal pickup is planned around your ship, not around app availability.
Your driver follows I-95 and Port Boulevard for the 5.1-mile hop and drops the group at the entrance, bags carried to the curb beside you.
Families come off the ships every week — the car seat side is handled:
Wynwood’s mural-covered warehouses, craft breweries, and galleries sit a short ride north of downtown, with Midtown’s shops and the Design District right beside them.
The hotel side — amenities, luggage holds, early check-in — is covered at Miami Hostel’s official page.
Ships rarely clear all passengers at one exact minute, so the pickup is planned around your ship’s arrival with the included 30-minute wait absorbing customs and the luggage hall — you walk out, the vehicle is there, and Miami Hostel is next.
Every booking gets its own vehicle and chauffeur — a better experience built around your sailing, not a pooled shuttle making the rounds.
Count on roughly 17–20 minutes terminal to door, light traffic to heavy.
Saturday and Sunday mornings are the port’s rush — thousands of passengers walk off the ships at once — so the pickup is timed to your actual disembarkation, with the I-95 and Port Boulevard traffic already priced into the plan.
The flat rate is honest because its edges are clear — these are not included:
Every reservation carries free wait time:
The booking terms fit on one hand — deposit, balance, refund window, done.
Guests here often fit in Wynwood Walls and the Miami Design District once they land ashore, with Midtown Miami and the Rubell Museum also nearby in Wynwood & Midtown.
Docked in the morning with an evening flight — or in town early? Our private hourly tours run from the port with your luggage stored securely in the vehicle the whole time.
Leaving for the ship, the chauffeur meets you at the hotel entrance and loads the bags; coming off the ship, the car is staged for the terminal curb once your group clears the exit — with 30 minutes of courtesy wait built in.
At your ship’s own terminal on Dodge Island — the driver is coordinated by message as you exit the hall and meets your group at the curb. Tell us the cruise line and we stage at the correct terminal.
For the whole vehicle. The flat rate above covers your entire group one way — it does not increase per passenger.
As soon as your group clears the terminal — self-assist walkers are often out within the first hour, checked-luggage groups a little later. Your booking includes 30 minutes of complimentary wait, so the pace of customs never costs you the ride.
Yes. One seat for a child under 5 rides free on every booking; additional seats carry a small fee listed in the add-ons section of this page.
We watch the port schedule and shift the pickup to the ship’s actual arrival — no penalty, no re-booking. The same applies to delayed flights on airport legs.
When the schedule falls outside 7:00 AM–9:00 PM, this is the only adjustment:
An app assigns whoever is nearby, in whatever car they drive, at whatever the surge says. A reservation assigns a specific vehicle to your group at a fixed fare, staged for your ship’s arrival — a different product for a morning when everyone leaves at once.
There is also the wait itself. A rideshare is requested only after you clear the hall and hauls you to a pickup zone; our driver is coordinated by message as you exit, with 30 minutes of courtesy wait already included, and a schedule change on your side is a message, not a new fare.

Send the date, group size, and your ship and we confirm the vehicle to Miami Hostel with the pickup staged around your arrival.

Curbside pickup is our main approach. Just message us your exit gate and the driver will roll up within minutes — typically quicker than the classic sign-holding option.
Should you rather have the driver wait in the terminal holding a sign with your name, we can set that up too for $20
The day before your ride, we’ll message you the driver’s name, the vehicle model, and its license plate, plus step-by-step curbside pickup directions.
No need to stress. We’ll message you the moment your flight touches down. If we don’t hear back quickly, the driver will automatically make his way to the international arrivals hall. Wait there and we’ll locate you; we never leave anyone stranded.
On domestic flights, we allow up to 60 minutes of waiting after arrival.
On international flights, the courtesy window stretches to 120 minutes.
For hotel pickups, there’s a 15-minute grace window.
For port pickups, we hold up to 60 minutes beyond the scheduled time.
This is uncommon, given that two complimentary hours of waiting are already built in. If you remain inside the airport past that point, the ride can be treated as a no-show. You may also ask for more waiting time, priced at US$ 30 for every additional 30-minute block, paid in cash straight to the driver.
Yes. Our drivers give a hand loading and unloading your luggage.
The standard limit is one large suitcase plus one carry-on for each traveler.

We’d appreciate it if you didn’t eat while traveling. Only water in sealed bottles may be brought on board.
Unplanned stops aren’t part of the base fare. That said, if a short, nearby stop is set up in advance, we’ll do our best to work it in. A modest charge may apply depending on the extra time.
Yes. Give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice and, subject to availability, we’ll move your pickup time.
No. The price we quote is what you pay — nothing hidden. A driver tip is optional and entirely up to you; it’s always appreciated.
